Smoothie Base
  • 1 banana ripe
  • 0.75 cup chamomile tea brewed and cooled
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt or plant-based
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon optional

Method
 

  1. Brew chamomile tea and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Add banana, chamomile tea, yogurt, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon to a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana slices. For a warmer version, skip ice and use room-temperature tea.
