Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Pat salmon dry and season with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon zest.
- Place seasoned salmon in baking dish and bake for 12–15 minutes until cooked through.
- While salmon bakes, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
- Add lemon juice and zest, simmer until slightly thickened.
- Remove sauce from heat and stir in parsley, salt, pepper, and capers if using.
- Plate baked salmon and spoon lemon butter cream sauce over fillets before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice, veggies, or potatoes for a full meal.
