Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 8-10 pieces frozen dumplings
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp chili oil or chili crisp to taste
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring broth to a gentle boil in a medium pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, chili oil, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  4. Add frozen dumplings and cook according to package directions.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili oil. Add vegetables or egg for extra heartiness.
